The prior Dodge police vehicle, the front drive Dodge Intrepid was discontinued after the 2004 model year, replaced by the all new rear drive,  Dodge Magnum wagon in 2005, and by the Dodge Charger sedan in 2006. For model year 2009, the car received some minor styling updates that included new taillight design, and different lettering on the back of the car.
