2019-2024 Dodge Durango Pursuit & 2012-2019 Special Service Vehicle. For the first time in model year 2019, Dodge offered a full police package on the Dodge Durango. The third generation Dodge Durango was introduced in model year 2011, and a special service package was made availbe for year 2012. The 2019 model year introduced a new front fascia for the Pursuit. Both the ful police package Durango Pursuit and the Durango Special Service are available from 2019 onward. For year 2012 the Durango Special Service Special Service version was available with rear drive or all wheel drive, and includes an upgraded 220 amp alternator, higher capity battery, heavy duty engine cooling,  upgadeded brakes, and a 290 hp 3.6L Pentastar V6. (1)  Optional was 5.7L HEMI V8 with 360 hp (1) For year 2019, the Durango Special Service was availabe still with rear drive or all wheel drive, with standard engine 3.6L Pentastar V6 with 293 hp or optional 5.7L HEMI V8 with 360 hp (2) The 2019 Durango Pursuit has standard all wheel drive, and standard engine 3.6L Pentastar V6 with 293 hp or optional 5.7L HEMI V8 with 360 hp, with a new performance style front fascia with integrated brake-cooling air ducts.(3)
