(Brazil) Military Police It Brazil, each State has a State Military Police force that acts as a preventative state police agency. The State Military Police are responsible for maintaining order in the state. The State Military Police are also reserve troops for the Brazilian military. The investigation of crimes, such as detective work, criminal investigation and forensic would be the responsibility of the separate State Civil Police. |
