Mobile Investigative Response Vehicles 
MIRV
Introduced in 2010, these vehicles respond to crime scenes throughout the city to provide police investigators with a state of the art mobile command and communication office. The vehicles were acquired in part through money from a Dept of Justice grant. The vehicles are equipped with computer workstations, satellite communications, video camera, and mobile investigation office.
