Pennsylvania State Police Motor Carrier
Enforcement formerly was part of the Pennsylvania Dept of Tranportation (PennDot) On January 1, 2005 Motor Carrier Enforcement Officers/Inspectors from PennDot were transferred to the Pennsylvania State Police. These individuals are now civilian employees of the Pennsylvania State Police. They retained their limited enforcement powers for violations of the vehicle code regarding overweight vehicles, equipment standards and motor carrier violations. |
