2019 Chevrolet Silverado SSV For model year 2019 Chevrolet introduced an all new Silverado pickup, and continued to offered a Special Service Package. Both Ford and Ram had offered special service package pickups in prior years. The Special Service Vehicle is based on the Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Crew Cab. The engine is a 5.3L EcoTec3 V-8, rated at 355 horsepower. (2)  2WD or 4WD models with the standard 6’6” pickup box or a shorter 5’8” box were available with the SSV.The 2019 Silverado SSV is equipted with heavy-duty air cleaner, 220-amp alternator, 120-volt IP power outlet, 120-volt bed-mounted power outlet, calibration that disables remote key panic button & exterior lights/horn as factory default. Surveillance Mode Calibration disables interior and exterior lighting when activated. (2)
