2007-2017 Ford Expedition Special Service Package A new Ford Expedition was introduced for model year 2007 with a new platform based on the 2004 Ford F-150 pickup. A special service package continued to be offered. As before, it was offered with 2 wheel drive or 4 wheel drive. 5.4 L Triton 24V V-8 was the engine for years 2007- 2014, while a  3.5L EcoBoost V6 Engine was in the 2015-2017 model years. A 150 amp heavy duty alternator, 17 inch steel wheels, column shifter, and 6 speed automatic transmission are some of the features on the 2015-2017 model years. (1)
